Why Marmite makes Monday better…

September 19, 2016 by Katie Bryson

Gah, Monday, the day when I can never seem to get started. I usually hit my stride by Tuesday, but it just seems like Monday can be a total waste of space. I comfort myself by making lots of lists in a quest for productivity, but it can often feel like there’s so much to do I don’t know where to start.

Here’s a fun little video about getting a severe case of the M.O.N.D.A.Y.S from The Ministry of Marmite:

So how can Marmite make Mondays better?

Have it for Breakfast, Lunch AND Dinner of course!

It’s absolutely what I HAVE to spread on my first slice of buttered toast, washed down with a glass of zesty orange juice. It’s non-negotiable. I don’t have a sweet tooth, I’m a savoury girl through and through, so for me Marmite gives me the perfect hit of salty flavour to wake up to.

Marmite and Banana on Toast on feedingboys.co.uk

Marmite on a bagel at lunchtime is a beautiful thing – but have you tried it with sliced banana on top? Sounds gross, but you’ve really got to try it!

Dinner… well you can stir a spoonful into your bolognese sauce or casseroles for a lush depth of flavour or why not try it stirred into plain spaghetti with some butter and parmesan – umami central!

What do YOU hate about Monday? Does Marmite make it better for you?!

Disclosure: I have been commissioned by Marmite to share this content with you. It’s posts like this that mean I can continue to work on my blog, so I hope you don’t mind.

Beautiful little book the audience were all given Beautiful little book the audience were all given at last night’s performance of #Here from @curious.monkey_ at @northern_stage. Such a powerful performance from the talented cast bringing together individual stories of what it means to seek sanctuary in the North East, the friendships that are forged and the spark of hope that refuses to be snuffed out. With the plight of refugees so visible right now, the timing of this performance was impeccable. #RefugeesWelcome #togetherwithrefugees🧡 #StoryCollectors
