Convenience food doesn’t have to mean you compromise on ingredients and taste. Tideford Organics‘ range has got no nasties in it, just the kind of things you’d put in if you were making it yourself.
Started in 1996 on the family aga in Devon, Tideford Organics is an independent organic food manufacturer who produce award winning, organic, chilled soups, cooking sauces, pestos, porridge and puddings.
Their products are low fat, low salt and organic, along with many gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options.
As i’m working from home, I try and make most of my sauces from scratch so I was interested to try the Organic tomato and basil sauce and compare it to my own. I mixed it into our staple weeknight pasta with veggie meatballs. It tasted really natural, had a beautiful smooth texture and was snaffled down with no complaints from the boys.
I’m looking forward to working my way through the rest of the range of soups, porridges and sauces that they sent. And if you’d like to be in with a chance of winning them too, here’s how.
