Win tickets to the Taste of London festival

June 6, 2011 by Katie Bryson

Probably the hottest date in a foodie’s diary, Taste of London in Regent’s Park is packed with the capital’s coolest restaurants and finest food producers.

I went last year with my husband and wanted to move in. So many fantastic food experiences to be had – if you don’t get to eat out much like we don’t then this is nirvana. I could barely carry all the goodies home, let alone my swelling midriff…

The restaurants serve up mini portions of their top nosh for you to try in return for the special festival currency of Crowns – the only headache is deciding which ones to shell out for as it’s not especially cheap funnily enough!

So while you make up your mind you can peruse the food producers’ stands and check out the latest taste sensations bursting onto the food scene. There are lots of freebies to be had if you can sniff them out.

So I’m delighted, thanks to one of those very food producers Union Hand Roasted Coffee, to be able to offer you lovely lot the chance to win a pair of tickets.

The tickets (valued at £44 total, advance price) are valid for either session on Thursday 16th or Friday 17th at Taste of London.

The winners will also receive a little gift from Union if they come to the stand at Taste of London.

If you’ve not tried Union coffee before then here’s a bit more about them:

They source top quality beans directly from origin and then roast them in small batches by hand, not computers. Their ‘Direct Trade’ ethos means they personally unearth coffees hard to find for most, by building strong relationships with producers at origin, often from small private farms and co-operatives.

All very right on I think you’d agree, plus it’s properly lush tasting coffee 🙂
