We’re all flagging in the Bryson household today. So I decided to give my husband’s beloved juicer a whirl.
I was slightly scared of getting the combinations and amounts wrong, but it’s actaully super simple.
I made Sam a melon and apple juice which he drained in a nanosecond. It’s a brilliant way to get fruit down them and also a fun activity.
Get them to choose whatever fruit and veg they like, chop and rinse it. Stand the little person on a stool and get them to feed the juicer with the ingredients. Sam was fascinated by the resulting frothy concoction.
You can also make the juice into ice lollies if you’ve got molds.
I whizzed up an energising carrot, apple and ginger combo to revive myself after a late night.
Matthew is much more adventurous – he thinks nothing of chucking a bit of beetroot, radish and celery into the mix. I might have to build up to such experimentation 😉
Eggs for lunch today. Arlo was loving them – sadly not the juice though. He kept throwing his beaker at the poor dog!

Mmm the melon juice sounds insane! And I love carrot in juice, so refreshing.
