    My mum is special because she took early retirement from her teaching job to help me out with childcare. She round my house at 6.40 3 mornings a week (much earlier than she had to get up for work!) and gives my daughter all the time and attention she could need, just like she did with all of us!     At over 80 years old, my Mum helped the police to catch a violent conman! Instead of giving him the money he wanted, she gave him a cup of tea. Then the minute he left her house, she phoned the police and said “A man has just tried to con me out of hundreds of pounds.     if i won this hamper it would be for my gran, who has brought me up and been there for me through things that no-one else would be.
    she is helping me with my wedding and hasnt let her health get in the way , this hamper would be a fantastic way to say thank you to her.
    i know in very lucky to have a gran like her 🙂 x

    I think my mother in law is great and would love this as it is 12 months since she lost her son and is still struggling to come to terms with it, but if i needed her to jusdt listen to me or help with my children she is there straight away

    My mum’s so special as she has over come so many obsticals in her life and is such a wonderful lady. Although she is not my birth mother , there has never been a day that I haven’t seem her as my mum and she hasn’t seen me as her daughter. She has always had a smile on her face , even though her battle with cancer, and has always been there for myself as well as her other 3 children.
    She tells us every day how much she loves us and how special and important we are to her. She has helped me through many hard times including the death of a very dear family member , and without her , I don’t know what I would have done.
    She is my rock as well as my best friend. I love her to pieces and would just love a chance to show her how important and wonderful she is , and be able to treat her for once .
    So fingers crossed 🙂

    My mother died when I was only 11 years old, so Mother’s day was always very hard for me until I had children of my own. My mam was very special and made sure me and my 4 siblings were always put before herself. I’m sure she would have loved being a nana, so will be looking down on my kids.

    would love to thank my lovely mum for being the best mum in the world and for teaching me so much about life (good and bad!) but sadly i can’t .it’s been over 12 years now and i love and miss her still everyday .my beautiful daughter is 14 this year on my mum’s birthday (they sadly only shared one birthday together) but we always get together on mother’s day , my dad , sister and my three kids and hubby of course !! wouldn’t have it any other wayxxxx…thank god for loving families

    My mum is very special because nothing is too much for her despite been 82 despite all her painful medical conditions . She took care of my dad until he passed away with cancer. She suffered a broken knee cap and with determination she manged to will herself to walk again. She always manged to turn frowns upside down !

    my mum is very special, about 6 years ago she broke her back in a fall but despite being in pain a lot of the time she never complains and gets on with things, she recently had another fall, breaking her arm but still comes to help at brownies every week,she is always smiling, always willing to help others she is a winderful woman
