Tortilla wraps are a store cupboard essential for busy family cooks. My kids love them because they like to get stuck in and construct their own. I usually prepare a variety of fillings and put them in bowls in the middle of the table, then the boys get busy creating.
Sadly they are very suspicious of anything I cook for them, as they’re wary of me experimenting with new recipes on them. “What have you put in this mummy?!” is a routine question at the beginning of every meal, just in case i’ve tried to sneak something offensive like a mushroom in. They don’t half suck the joy out of cooking!
So having everything out in the open for them to pick and choose from is far more agreeable on both sides.
My latest recipe for Birds Eye is the Chicken Chargrill Wrap, which really could not be simpler. In the ad I show you how it’s done, but why not let your kids make their own. It’s great playdate food, especially with some veggie sticks and hummus on the side.
You can find out more about the campaign on the Birds Eye Website
Disclosure: I am working with Birds Eye to promote their Mix Up Your Menu campaign and will be sharing my ads and recipes over the coming months with you here in Feeding Boys.

As Becca says, you are a natural. I can imagine it’s always a challenge creating meals that are both healthy and that kids will eat!
