Review of GoGo SqueeZ fruit snacks and yogurtz on feedingboys.co.uk

I don’t know about you, but putting packed lunches together for the boys gets pretty flipping dull by the time you’re a few weeks into term, so I was delighted to be sent a new product range of fruity treats to try out called GoGo squeeZ. I enlisted my pudding king Sam as chief taster, because he is lover of all things yogurt and dessert.

We received five boxes from the product range, including both the fruit snacks and the yogurts. Sam wasted no time and got stuck straight in to give us his verdict.

GoGo SqueeZ Fruit Snack

Review of GoGo SqueeZ fruit snacks and yogurtz on feedingboys.co.ukThe GoGo squeeZ Fruit Snacks are packaged in boxes containing 4 x 90g pouches which are available in three flavours:

  • Apple
  • Apple & Strawberry
  • Apple & Mango

They’re made from 100% fruit so you don’t need to worry about any nasties AND they count as one of your child’s 5-a-day.

They don’t need to be kept in the fridge, so they’re perfect as on-the-go snacks to keep in your bag for when hunger strikes on a day out.

They’re in a handy squeeze pouch with a fun lid that makes it easier for little hands to open – ideal for lunchboxes coz you don’t need to pack a spoon and makes less mess.

Sam’s verdict? He went for the Apple & Mango first and loved the bold flavours and thick texture, he liked the Strawberry but it was the straight up Apple variety that was his absolute favourite.

GoGo SqueeZ Yogurtz

The GoGo squeeZ Yogurtz like the fruit snacks are sold in boxes of 4 x 85g pouches and come in two flavours:

  • Strawberry
  • Banana

The yogurt in the pouch is made with milk and fruit purée and is a source of calcium and vitamin D.  Once again the pouches don’t have to be kept in the fridge so are brilliant for packed lunches and day trips. In fact they’ll keep in the cupboard for up to 12 months.

Sam’s verdict? He is such a yogurt fiend, these were hands down his favourite of all the products. He thought the strawberry flavour was lush and the banana flavour reminded him of a milkshake. He loved the thick and creamy texture and couldn’t believe you didn’t have to keep them in the fridge.

I’m delighted to find such a healthy snack option for the kids, especially one that I can keep in my bag all day when we’re out and about. There’s nothing worse than a child with a hangry meltdown when you’re in public, so having a few of these handy to fill a rumbly tummy is great. I love that they don’t have any nasties in and help the boys notch up one of their 5-a-day.

I also like the idea of squeezing the fruit snacks into milkshakes with a handful of oats for a quick and easy breakfast – Sam is always in a rush to get out of the house in the morning that I think he’d really love this idea.

Where can I buy them?

They’re now available in Tesco from £2.55 per box and will be available on Amazon very soon
