Spring has sprung and with it the desire to eat more healthily to be in shape for summer. To help us along with this but keeping things supremely tasty, Kallo have kindly given me a Tote bag bursting full of their goodies to give away to one lucky reader.

    I like to chop up good ripe tomatoes, add a little crushed garlic, some oregano and a sprinkle of salt, then a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, stir well together and let sit fir flavours to mingle for 5-10 mins, then pile on rice cakes – very good-boy bruschettas, and deliciius too!!!

Such a powerful performance from the talented cast bringing together individual stories of what it means to seek sanctuary in the North East, the friendships that are forged and the spark of hope that refuses to be snuffed out.
