stonewear – such as Denby
I like crockery with some colour, to brighten up the table.
Thats a stunning set ,
I think the china is as important as the food on it!!
I like quite plain crockery – nothing with too fancy a pattern on it. And it has to be tough enough for dishwasher and microwave and the occassional knock!

I know this is old fashioned but I love the old Willow patterned plates? They remind me of my childhood (everyone had a set that was different). I remember my Gran in Bristol had a set, and we used to have fish and chips after the 5 hour drive down, and I’ve never tasted fish and chips like them. When she passed away I took one of the plates as a reminder, and every time I treat myself to Chippy fish and chips, I use it 🙂

What a lovely colour !
Ps plain and simple, i really like white crockery and really large white dinner plates
Wedgewood is my favourite.
Love white with a gold trim – i like rectangle shapes too!
I prefer simple crockery – unlike the plates my Mum favoured when I was growing up – bright and busy patterns :/ Denby is lovely, very simple, stylish and sturdy enough for family use.
Something bright and cheerful – and often mismatched! I prefer stoneware to bone china (much to my MILs disgust!).
I like Stonewear, especially Denby, in bright colours
The unbreakable stuff – I’m so clumsy!
I like it to be durable & dishwasher safe

A knocking on my house in the kitchen and more
The rivers did swell and the house filled with rain
The crockery I loved all floating through the door
Twas my Denby best set

At best a little wet
floating off down the street
i love traditional crockery and vintage too
I like a simple style of crockery.
Lovely prize :o)
I just like solid china. Much less chance of the kids burning their hands plus there’s less pieces (and splinters) if one does get dropped somehow!

I like chunky old looking stoneware, anything pleasing to the eye! Unusual things, nothing flowery or delicate!
I like all kinds. plain white looks stylish but I love something bright and colourful too.

lovely design
Good quality porcelain with a delicate design
I like mine to complement the colours in the dining room
I like using my mis-matched Vintage 1950s crockery I’ve picked up over the years
Denby blue stoneware
I love bright colours but most of all it has to be strong enough to withstand my two boys lol
i like the square sets, i also like nice bright sets
Denby
plain. I’m not fussed with frippery. Just gets in the way of the food having a pattern on a plate.
I don’t really have a favourite style. Although I tend to go for modern and colourful. Or modern and plain, like white square plates. Makes me look fancier than I am. 😀
White china
vintage flowers its stunning
Willow Pattern as it reminds me of my very first job at the willows Tea room where I first discovered the story behind it, that was many years ago now and I still love it.
the simpler the better, has to have a plain section which you serve food on as seeing patterns beneath the food detracts from the presentation
Classic and plain white generally

Depends on my mood and the food. For everyday use I like the Denby Imperial blue range, love the shape of the cups. For special occassions I love the James Martin Dine range – very elogant and simple so shows the food off to perfection.
Fine bone china is difficult to beat. I like the classic designs
I like pastel colours and patterns, nothing too bright.

I love Denby. We have a dimishing set of a now discontinued Denby Storm, which we’ve had since our wedding, almost 10 years ago. I’d love to be able to replace it with a shiny new set of Denby.
I like something with just a bit of colour around the edge.
I love Cornish Blue for everyday but Denby for visitors
Denby of course
I like something unique
My favourite crockery is stoneware/earthenware from the 50s – really bold chunky styled sets
Plain and understated
Lovley Smart clean looking and totally up to date fab!!
Plain white / Retro
I like crockery that will withstand being warmed in the oven, reheated in the microwave, put in the fridge with leftovers and occasionally put in the freezer. I like it to be fairly plain so it doesn’t detract from the food
i love patterns, bright colours most crockery to be honest
i like bold patterns as well as flowery bone china type

I love Cornish dinnerware
I like simple, white crockery
I like sturdy crockery but it has to look good too.
I’m sure, if I knew I could afford the price tags, I would love some gilt edged fine china plates and beautiful chargers but I love my few odd pieces of old sage green Denby and the matching baby casserole bowls with lids that I took from my grandmother’s house when we were clearing it. I also took all her battered old spoons and a little crazed bowl I remembered her using to make clotted cream. They are still wearing well.

I like just plain stoneware but it must be able to go in microwave and be hardy as in the hands of a 3 yr old
I love clean and and classic designs.
I like it to have a nice pattern round the edge, and not be too big
I like the plainer Denby the most. It’s so hard wearing. We’re lucky enough to have the factory shop just down the road and often visit to see what bargains we can find. I had six big bowls from a trial range for something like a pound each. Gorgeous, crackled duck egg blue inside with wide brown edges. Such a shame they didn’t decide to make the whole range.
plain and modern
This kind really – I don’t like plain white, and don’t like anything where the centre of the plate is patterned, but a simple design round the rim is perfect 🙂
anything modern
Plain with a hint of coulor
Plain cream, goes with everything and cheaper to replace when you break crockery at the rate I do…

I always choose Fine China, in light colours with the majority of the plates & dishes in white. They always show the food off to its best. So Lucille by Denby is perfect – it even matches the colours in our kitchen, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed, that in the New Year I can ditch my rather dated set, in favour of Lucille.
