Win £100 voucher for The Range

September 13, 2012 by Katie Bryson 637 Comments

Featured Post

I’m teaming up with The Range, a store which offers folks stylish kit for their homes and gardens without it costing a small fortune…

Spotty table ware from The RangeBy the sea cushion Starfish candle holder

These kind of shops are the places I can lose hours in browsing around their wonderful kitchenware and beautiful home accessories – dreaming of the kind of home i’d like to have if I didn’t have a whirlwind of boys who tend to scuff everything they come into contact with.

Instead of bringing flashes of colour into my living room, scatter cushions become weapons or the bases of dens. My corner lamp is frayed after being bombarded with footballs and the throw that covers our stained cream couch has peepholes…

So if your house is a bit like mine and could do with a few new bits and pieces to distract from the destruction, you’ll be wise to enter my competition to win a fab £100 to spend at The Range 🙂

HOW TO ENTER…

  • Fill in the Rafflecopter widget below to verify your entries
  • Entries can be via blog comment, Facebook, Twitter etc

The first thing I’d buy is the dragonfly wall art. I live in a rented house that’s a magnolia box and we aren’t allowed to hang photos, but a wall sticker would be the perfect solution to making my lounge look a bit less boring. I think I’d also choose one of the rugs, which would make my lounge a bit more homey.

In my local range they have a fab fold down table with a New York scene in black and white with a Yellow Taxi and I love it. I also love the union Jack beenie stools they have. In fact I could probably spend £100 10 times over in there. I recently bought the Paris scene trunks with the red scooters on and they do storage boxes to match so I might put the money towards that instead. Decisions, decisions.

We have a small spare bedroom which is crammed full of pine furniture, which makes the room seem cramped and dark. The bed is also quite old so we are planning to decorate the room with a chalky white base and a few jewel-coloured accessories.

If I won the voucher, although I would like to spend it on soft furnishings and gorgeous bits and bobs, I would have to use it towards the Steens Carlton white single bedframe, as this would work perfectly in the new scheme and make a huge difference.

I would buy some table ware as I am really fed up of eating mostly off plastic children’s plates since my eldest was born 12 years ago! We threw out all the blue glass plates that we had simply because if dropped they shattered into thousands of tiny pieces & very unsafe with kids around – after that it was plastic or mis-matched assorted white plates! I like the Simply colours plum tableware & would choose 12 place settings with mug, bowl, plate & side plate! I would be spoilt for choice with the rest of the site to spend the rest on!

I live Nia renovation project so it doesn’t take much to brighten it up! I think a nice bright rug to cover the bitumen floor or some lovely Christmas decorations as its our first Christmas in this house and I’d love it to be bright and cheerful.

I think The Range items are great, and would spend the voucher wisely !!! My bathroom towels have seen better days (years!!! really), so I would spend some money on new bath and hand towels. My children need something better than they have been using.
I would buy some really nice bedroom items for my little girls bedroom e.g. a nice small rug, cushion, pink paint and butterfly theme.
I would love to buy a new mixing bowl for the kitchen, and top up my missing utensils for the kitchen as I really need a rolling pin and potato masher. The vouchers would really come in handy.

We were at the Range on Sunday – they have MASSES of gorgeous items that would brighten up our house a treat (need it now the clocks have changed!). Our eye was particularly caught by a lovely set of 5 pictures which made up a sea scape with a jetty and sunset – glorious! It would see us through the winter months wonderfully!
