Have you been brave enough to roll the barbecue out of the shed yet this ‘summer’? Well just in case you’re contemplating it during one of the brief gaps between torrential downpours and gail force winds, I’ve created a bunch of delicious recipes over at Parentdish.
There are Spiced Lamb Koftas with a yoghurty minty cucumber dip
Sticky chicken skewers which’ll go down a storm with the kids
A rather attractive giant couscous salad
And to up those veggie stakes glazed halloumi and vegetable kebabs.
There are more barbecue recipes and tips to follow, but I thought I’d share the first batch with you.
What are your favourite things to sling on the barby? How do you cater for vegetarians?

This is my kind of food. Colourful and full of flavour. I am so missing the BBQ. We have had one I think so far! Koftas always go down well in our house as do ribs and lamb and aubergines…I could go on.! Let’s hope for sun this weekend please 🙂

Brightly coloured food is the best – cheers up the table and tends to be healthy too. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for more BBQ action this summer…
