Jubilee baking ideas

May 16, 2012 by Katie Bryson

Jubilee baking for Parentdish.co.uk

I’ve been very busy in the Feeding Boys kitchen drumming up recipes for parentdish.co.uk to celebrate the Jubilee.

From eye popping iced gems, to classy little tarts. A proud patriotic sponge, some coronation pasties and of course a trifle – with rhubarb and custard.

If this sounds up your street (party) head over to parentdish.co.uk for the recipes which they’re adding bit by bit in the run up to the big weekend.

Love those iced gems! Have just bought some of the Jubilee M&Ms in red, white & blue. So many goodies to tempt me 🙂

Thanks Laura. I love all the jubilee stuff in the shops too – treated myself to a jolly biscuit tin in M&S today 🙂

Beautiful little book the audience were all given Beautiful little book the audience were all given at last night’s performance of #Here from @curious.monkey_ at @northern_stage. Such a powerful performance from the talented cast bringing together individual stories of what it means to seek sanctuary in the North East, the friendships that are forged and the spark of hope that refuses to be snuffed out. With the plight of refugees so visible right now, the timing of this performance was impeccable. #RefugeesWelcome #togetherwithrefugees🧡 #StoryCollectors
