This giveaway is open to all readers over 18 with a UK postal address.  The winner will be chosen using an online randomiser and announced in a subsequent post.

I am running this competition on behalf of Asda who will be sending the prize out to the lucky winner. Their decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

    If I won, I’d share this hamper with my mother. She puts SO much effort in to Christmas dinner for everyone every year that I’d like to repay her with something yummy!
    She always cooks a traditional Christmas dinner for herself, my father and grandmother every Christmas day. However, me and my older brother don’t like a traditional Christmas dinner and never have. So she ends up having to cook another two separate meals for me and my brother as well! (curry for me, chips for my brother).
    Every year I feel guilty that she has to do so much cooking. This would be a fab reward for her efforts 🙂

    My Mum as she’s had a hard year this year. Brother-in-law has cancer and it’s just a matter of time. My Dad/her husband has been in hospital twice for op to take disc out and then had complications. She could use some treating herself instead of looking after others.

    I was going to say that I would share the hamper with all my family and friends who visit the Under Gardener’s Lode over the festive season, however, as I know we will all have plenty to eat at this time, so I would share the hamper with The Cathedral’s Archer’s Project, in Sheffield. It’s a project for the homeless and vulnerable in Sheffield to help them find pathways away from homelessness and exclusion. At this time of year they try and offer a Christmas meal to many who find this time of year one of loneliness.

    I would love to share this with my Aunt Marion and my cousin, as they have had an absolutely awful year – my auntie was in hospital for a while after she had an accident at home and broke her hip, my cousin lost her husband to a heart attack totally out of the blue. The week after she fell over in her kitchen and broke her leg. Then to put pay to everything, my Uncle has been taken into a care home as he has such severe dementia that they cannot look after him at home any more. I think they seriously deserve a treat, so I’d take it round there for them to see a smile on their face to let them know that someone cares xx
