To celebrate the launch of Dorset Cereals’ biggest on-pack promotion – to win classic VW campervans – they have given us a beautiful hamper, a set of the gorgeous new spelt mugs and bowls plus packs of Granola, Crunch and Muesli, to give to one lucky Feeding Boys reader.
Last year tens of thousands of people entered the Dorset Cereals competition to win a VW Campervan, so they thought that this year they’d give people the chance to win again – only this time the competition is much bigger and better!
Two 1970’s Devon Bay Campervans have already been fully refurbished and are with the Dorset Cereals interns who will be visiting various festivals and events in the campervans over the summer. The campers will be given away in a free prize draw towards the end of the year.
The remaining Campervans can be won anytime from now and will be finished to the winners specification – to win one of these, all you have to do is pick up a promotional pack and enter your code online or play our online virtual game which is now live at http://simplepleasurehunt.dorsetcereals.co.uk/ you could even join a charity convoy and win a share of £8000 for your favourite charity.

When I went to New York, I was told the breakfast’s were amazing and the food was great etc…but it wasn’t till my last day there that I found my best, it was small italian place that did the biggest breakfast I’d had, eggs benedict, crispy bacon, a bagel and pancakes! Plus a nice glass of oj and a coffee. Amazing!

I had a delicious breakfast when out camping at Slayley, a gorgeous area in the Northumberland Countryside. I ate my happiest breakfasts in Summer 2002, in the overgrown, East-facing garden of my crumbling student house. I remember the sun shining on my face every morning, but realistically, there must have been some overcast days. I had just graduated and was starting a new life in the big, bad world of work. It was an experience to be eating my muesli at the same time as everyone else, rather than at 2pm!

I always enjoy breakfast in the holiday cottage I go to. It is a quaint little 2 up 2 down and it is almost on the beach . The high tide is within a few metres and on those mornings, whatever the weather, I sit out eating my muesli, on the deck, greeting the sea. If it is sunny, the sea glistens and it is still morning so very quiet. I might then have toast and jam and another coffee just to linger longer.

I used to love breakfast time when we went camping in France. Everyone was still in bed and I used to set myself a tray with, teapot, cup & saucer, two croissants, some ham and a small amount of raspberry conserve. I’d sit outside in the morning sunshine, yes sunshine, there’s alot of that in France unlike here in the UK!
I’d just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet, before the mayhem that was my four children awoke.
Unfortunately we no longer go to France as money is a bit tight, but I still enjoy the memory of my own time there. But so grateful that the schools are back next week.
Thank you for helping me relive a lovely memory. X

Many years ago I won a holiday to Dubai, far posher than any holiday I’d have ever paid for myself, thankfully breakfast was included in the prize because otherwise it would have cost £26 … each … per day! For your £26 though you got a room filled with food, an entire Indian buffet, there must have been at least 20 different curry dishes, full English buffet, continental – and tons of other stuff. I don’t normally eat breakfast and didn’t manage to get my head round curry for breakfast, but sitting in the sun eating feta cheese ,smoked mackerel and hot buttered toast was bliss.

It would fit in with the cereal if I said my friends wonderful 1970’2 campervan called Daisy but my favourite breakfasts will always be from Poland. As a child this is where we holidayed and my aunt did the most amazing spread. fresh rye bread, butter, eggs . kilbasa (sausage) and tomato salad. Mmm. Sadly my grnaddad and Aunt Hela are no longer with us but the joy of that breakfast will never be forgotten.

A few years ago hubby & I were lucky enough to holiday in Australia. We travelled around Perth, Sydney & Melbourne and my favourite ever breakfast was when we stayed in a managed apartment on the 32nd floor of a building in Brisbane. We had a balcony that was roughly twice the size of our lounge at home so eating brekkie out on the balcony overlooking Brisbane centre and the river was amazing. Definitely a memory I like to pull out on rainy winter mornings in the UK when the only brekkie view I have is rain on the patio! @piperanddaisy

I most enjoyed eating breakfast at my grandfather-in-laws house. We only got to see him occasionally as we lived so far away, but he always made it special – pulling out the table, grapefruit slices, milk and cereals on the table to help yourself with a pot of tea. You were always made to feel special. Sadly he passed away, but I have continued the grapefruit tradition in my house and often pull out a tin for the kids which they love!x

I was once on the Greek island of Skyros and had snuck out of my room earlier to escape the island because ther landlord was threatening to keep my passport so I’d have to stay there and marry him – and he was nice but my daughter was at home waiting for me to finish my assignment and come home! I sat at a beach bar and ate my first ever Full English while waiting for the ferry to arrive and praying Nick wouldn’t come after me. I felt like I was in a movie! It was great!
