Russell Hobbs have a new-look range of kitchen gadgets out and to bang the drum they’ve sent me the Food Processor to try as well as offering one to giveaway to one of you guys.

I’ve not had a food processor before, using a mini chopper and stick blender to get by, but i’m finding it more and more frustrating when I have large quantities of things to chop or blitz.

I’ll let you know how I get on with the processor once I’ve given it a thorough testing, but in the meantime if you’d like to win one, here’s some more info about it:

    Firstly, reading about you – how on earth do you find the time!!! Secondly, I am recently diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis and cooking is getting harder and harder as my hands are badly affected.   128. 8 years ago when I got married I was given a brilliant food chopper which I used to death – and I has just died on me :( I used it for all sorts – weaning my baby boys, soups, smoothies, sauces, dips, cakes, cookies etc. Now my arm is very sore from manual chopping and mixing, hence I would love to win this so save me time and my arm :)

    I would need a food processor in my kitchen to help me blend large quantities of things like garlic, ginger and onions. Being Indian means that I have to cook a lot of curries quite often in the week and blending things like garlic and ginger by hand with a stone crusher can prove to be a real daunting task and can get quite messy.

    Now that I have 2 little girls I am trying to make sure we eat lots of healthy home-cooked food but I don’t have a lot of time so anything that can help me chop, whizz, mix and blend family size portions quickly would be great. Plus my toddler likes to sit on the bench watching and helping me but I worry about hot sauces etc splattering when I use the stick blender so something with a lid would be fab.

    I would love to win because my mum became ill a little while ago and had to be in hospital and then recover at home, i took over the cooking duties, and oh my gosh, i never appreciated how stressful and hard cooking and organising the meals are!
